Tower erection is complete at the Geisinger Medical Center parking garage in Danville, Pennsylvania. Our crew set the final precast pieces on the tower on October 20 and moved the crane to its demobilization position the same day.

With erection finished, the crew spent the rest of the week closing out the garage: completing the tee to tee welds and stainless connections, finishing exterior grouting, working through remedial items, removing jack posts from the tower and cleaning every level so the concrete crew can pour.

The closeout stretch was also a strong one for safety. Every daily report from the crew through the end of the job recorded no injuries and no near misses.

This milestone follows our October update on the project. Thank you to foreman Aaron Vassar and the entire HSE Geisinger crew for finishing strong, and to our partners at High Concrete Group. The new garage will serve patients, visitors and staff at Geisinger for years to come.
