Campers from the Lancaster Science Factory visited the HIGH campus for BridgeMania, an interactive bridge camp that gives students a hands on look at the bridge building process from fabrication to construction.

Guided by experts from High Steel Structures and High Structural Erectors, the campers toured the fabrication facility, tried both virtual and hands on welding, built model bridges, ran bolt torque tests and even helped construct a real bridge.

It was inspiring to see the next generation of builders, engineers and ironworkers in action. We look forward to welcoming campers back next year.
